Ornithology and Mammals area

In this area the specimens are displayed and subdivided into habitats of frequentation during the period of nesting or during winter. This area has recently been restored to consent the valorization by school groups, tourists and for scientific research.

Each single specimen displayed has a comprehensive and complete description obtained from the AVES 2000 Encyclopedia by the Ornithologist Pierandrea Brichetti, which can be also seen on the monitors situated close to the showcases.

It is also possible to hear acoustically the bird songs on the monitors or with the MP3 available upon request.
